-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and patent disclosures:

- No one declared a patent.

- Mike: The latest IQ 2.0 spec was posted
  - The MSWord version has change highlighting
  - The PDF is clean

- Mike: We need to continue reviewing Randy's feedback

- Mike: Pavani wrote:
"Seems like, there have been some edits related to vref or vmeas that
I missed during some of the meetings. Did we delete any of the quality
checks related to vref and vmeas?"

- Mike: Tim Coyle is interested in joining us for correlation discussions

AR Review:

- Mike ask Randy why they use AC for Vinl/Vinh
  - TBD

- Mike change web site to avoid using frames
  - In progress

New items:

What do we do next?
- Bob: IBISCHK bugs or correlation
- Anders: We should file the bugs first
- Mike: Some people may want correlation soon
  - But the bugs should not take long
  - We could divide up the work by IQ section
- We decided to file IBISCHK bugs after the IQ spec work is done

Continued review of feedback from Randy Wolff:

11. Section 5.2.4: Last sentence, consider changing 'may' to 'might'. Reads like a pleasant version of 'cannot' which is not the intent of the language.
- The check is:
5.2.4.	{OPTIONAL} [Model Spec] Pulse subparameters complete
- We changed "may" to "might".

12. Section 5.2: General comment. What about Threshold Sensitivity and Reference Supply? These are optional but absolutely necessary if you want to calculate the correct min/max switching thresholds. Maybe an Optional section could describe the usage of these?
- We added a new check 5.2.14 for this.

13. Section 5.3.11: Last sentence of first paragraph, 'tables in such as manner as to' should be 'tables in such a manner as to'
- We fixed this

15. Section 5.4.3: 'When removing trailing V-t point' - 'point' should be 'points'
- We fixed this

16. Section 5.4 & 5.5: General comment. Might want to be consistent with 'Time' as either 'T' or 't' as you have V-T tables with dV/dt Ramp. I usually use 'V-t tables'.
- Bob: The IBIS spec uses "V-T" for waveforms
- We left this unchanged.

10. Section 5.2.1: I'm curious what the committee's thinking is on suggesting DC instead of AC values for Vinl and Vinh. I'm not really sure which would be better, so just wondering how you decided this.
- Anders: These are not used if [Model Spec] or [Receiver Thresholds] present
- We changed the text to avoid saying "DC" or "AC"
- [Model] Vinh/Vinl are appropriate for older parts where only a single
  threshold value is known.
- Newer parts mostly need [Model Spec] or [Receiver Thresholds] or AMI
  - In this case the [Model] values are irrelevant

Next step:
- Mike will post an updated document to the Open Forum
  - It will be announced at IBIS Open Forum this Friday

We attempted to resolve Randy's question about 5.2.1 :
- Anders: These apply to components with no separate DC and AC
  - DC may only mean the threshold does not change
- Mike changed the text to say [Model] Vinl/Vinh would have "simple values"
- Anders: what does "simple values" mean?
- Bob: [Model] Vinl and Vinh were added to IBIS long ago
  - The level of sophistication for input thresholds was lower at the time
- Anders: "It's uncommon." is dangling
  - We deleted it

AR: Mike send changed 5.2.1 to Randy for feedback

Meeting ended at 12:27 PM Eastern Time.
